Protecting Gaza’s

children

In an attempt to ease the ongoing trauma amongst Gaza's children, we created the Palestine Humanitarian Response Campaign.

The funds enabled the purchase of medical supplies and winter clothes, as well as the creation of a children’s village which supports more than 250 displaced children with playful activities.

“War and displacement have caused traumatic experiences for children. We focus on trauma relief, emotional healing, restoration of normalcy, and building their resilience.”

-Awni Farhat, founder of the campaign

Together we have a greater impact.

With the support of over 3000 people around the world, the PHRC is working relentlessly to ease the stress and trauma of children in Gaza. Find out more about the campaign and how to donate here:

The campaign’s

impact

  • We built a children’s village in Rafah where 15 professionals work with 250 children every day, trying to ease trauma and pain through games, play and music. Learn more

  • In coordination with the Red Crescent Egypt, we brought essential medical supplies to Gaza’s severely depleted hospitals. Learn more

  • Our friends and partners from the Gaza Stars Circus School host activities for children in other parts of Gaza. Learn more

  • Our campaign is not limited but focused on people who are at the center of this emergency response. We have constructed tents for displaced families, and provided them with essential winter clothes and cooked meals. Our efforts will continue as the situation changes.
